Completed

The scheduled maintenance has been completed.
Posted Oct 13, 2025 - 23:08 PDT

Scheduled

Due to changes imposed by the telecommunications authority in the Philippines, we are no longer able to reliably use our numeric sender ID in the Philippines. Per the regulations in the country, we have replaced our primary numeric sender ID to an alphanumeric, which has been properly registered with all downstream operators to ensure its reliable use going forward.

PLANNED UPDATE
Everbridge has changed the primary and secondary SMS sender IDs for the Philippines. Specifically:

* The primary sender ID 22566554 has been replaced with a new sender ID of "EVBG".
* The secondary sender ID +639229992144 will be replaced with 22566554 (the previous primary sender ID).

The secondary SMS sender ID, 22566554, is subject to known limitations called out in our Global SMS Codes (https://everbridgesupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/18750693024155) Support Center article. We are continuing to explore options to mitigate these limitations, including the possibility of converting to an alphanumeric sender ID. If/when changes are made, we will update with another advisory.

WHEN
The new sender ID is already in place.

IMPACT
Your message recipients will see the new sender ID on SMS messages your Organization sends to contacts in the Philippines after the above noted date and time.

To inform your contacts about this change, we recommend you send an email notification with confirmation requested to contacts in the Philippines, asking them to add an alias contact to their mobile device for this new sender ID. This will prevent their Everbridge notifications from being erroneously flagged as spam by their provider.
