Planned Update

We are writing to inform you that Everbridge is transitioning from the legacy Everbridge Mobile App to the Public Safety by Everbridge mobile app, with the legacy app being retired on February 1, 2027.

This notice applies to Public Safety and State & Local Government agencies that use the legacy Everbridge Mobile App to deliver public alerts and important updates to residents and community members.

To continue receiving alerts from your agency after this date, residents and community members must transition to the Public Safety by Everbridge mobile app, powered by Everbridge Community.

Public Safety by Everbridge is designed with community members in mind. It provides an enhanced way for people to discover and follow public safety organizations and stay informed about local emergencies, community events, and other important updates.

Whether they live there, work there, or are just passing through, community members can use Public Safety by Everbridge to stay connected to the communities that matter to them and receive coordinated communications from the organizations they choose to follow.

The app is designed to work alongside Public Member Portals and Community Subscriptions, giving agencies a connected way to share important information and engage with their communities.

• Update all public-facing materials that reference the legacy Everbridge Mobile App, including your website, social media, email and SMS templates, QR codes, printed materials, and other sign-up instructions.
